Presenting Series Lowrance Elite-4 and Mark-4 HDI
The excellent stand-alone models with Hybrid Dual ImagingTM now available on a large bright display, high-resolution 4.3-inch.
Lowrance, the world's leading brand in marine electronics since 1957 and GPS navigational systems since 1992, today introduced the series Elite-4 and Mark-4 Hybrid Dual Imaging ™ (HDI), newest members of his family and fishfinders chartplotter compact Elite and Mark.
Going to define a new standard in terms of performance between the products of marine electronics and fishfinder affordable, the new devices have HDI GPS antenna, high-definition mapping options and the exclusive Hybrid Dual Imaging Lowrance, combining Broadband SounderTM and DownScan Imaging for the best vision possible under your boat.
Replacing the previous models Elite-4 and Mark-4, the broadest and super-bright display of Elite, with 4.3-inch color screen, and Mark, with the screen in grayscale, have 70% more pixels and 36% of the surface of the screen used in more. Available both as a fishfinder chartplotter or stand-alone or as models fishfinder / chartplotter combined, the last born of the series HDI Lowrance offers a full range of functions sonar and nautical highest level, all with a compact easy to use.
Incorporated into the new design of the transducer Lowrance HDI Skimmer®, Broadband Sounder technology is ideal for spotting fish arches and trace the action of the bait, while the DownScan Imaging provides photographic images of structure and detail of the backdrop easy to understand. With the exclusive DownScan Overlay Lowrance, fishermen may combine viewing DownScan Imaging with recording Broadband Sounder, for an impressive presentation that separates and clearly highlights the targets from the surrounding environment. The transparency of the overlay is also fully adjustable.
The Advanced Signal Processing (ASP) Lowrance optimizes the time fishing by limiting the need to manually change the settings to display more clearly the details of fish, structure and bottom. The unique TrackBack ™ allows anglers to scroll back recorded images from sonar to review the structure, movement and targets. You can also locate certain areas with waypoint (on models with chartplotter functionality) eliminating the need to go back and retrace the path.
Models Elite-4 and Mark-4 HDI-featured chartplotter are characterized by a very accurate GPS antenna built and have included an SD card that allows users to download charts Navionics or C-MAP by Jeppesen MAX-N. All models HDI / HD are compatible with Insight Genesis ™, the new online service for generating maps, allowing you to create personalized cards with profiles, details of bottom and vegetation at high resolution from the sonar recordings. Such models are also compatible with a variety of other cards, including the NV Digital maps.

Models Elite-4 and Mark-4 HDI have exclusive Lowrance display 4.3-inch high-definition, respectively in color and greyscale, and using a simple menu, which works quickly even with just the thumb. The options multi-window display, showing a variety of display configurations imaging sonar / chartplotter, are easy to access thanks to preset page layout, such as a display tripartite with map, Broadband Sounder and DownScan Imaging.
The Elite line HDI-4 is composed of individual fish finder Elite-4x HDI and plotter Elite-4m HD, but also from the combination of the two models, namely Elite-4 HDI. Mark-4 HDI is however only available in combination fishfinder / chartplotter.
Models Elite-4 and Mark-4 HDI HDI, with 83/200 kHz Skimmer transducer from, are suitable for fishing in fresh water and can reach a depth of 300 meters. Models equipped with 50/200 kHz Skimmer transducer, perfect for deep coastal areas, are able to reach depths of over 700 meters. DownScan Imaging then has the ability to reach a maximum of 90 meters in both models. Optional accessories include a series of through-hull transducers HDI bronze, an adapter kit for transducer trolling-motor and a kit for flush mounting. All transducers Airmar® in use with Lowrance HDS models are also compatible.
